Tightly woven, 100% wool felt provides a natural, water repellent yet breathable barrier for wetness. It will not cause sweatiness as non-breathable, rubberized pads or plastic sheets can. Amazingly enough, water put on the pad will bead up and remain for hours until it is finally absorbed! This pad is designed to be used under a sheet or blanket, rather than for the baby to lie directly on it. A unique find! Warm water rinse, air dry. Natural ivory color.
The manufacturer states that there are no chemical treatments in the processing of the wool used in these puddle pads.
