Care instructions: Machine washable and dryable, gentle cycle, low temperature. We recommend soaking them (in a bucket of water with some mild detergent added) if you can't wash them right away, to prevent ammonia buildup, which can cause odor and skin irritation, and make them harder to clean. (Just accumulate them until you have enough to do an extra-low load.) If you have another one in diapers, you can wash these along with the diaper covers.

How many to buy: People order anywhere from 4 to 10 pairs or more, depending on frequency of use and laundering. While most often they are used for potty training, a growing number of customers are using them for EC'ing (elimination communication/early use of toilet).

Babyworks Staff Tip: When potty training, it's always good to have an extra pair of pants along. If you are on a car trip or other situation where you might not be able to check or change them fairly promptly, try the Dappi nylon pants over them.
